He extended an invitation to UK companies to make investments in Uttar Pradesh, noting the state's enormous potential for commercial and industrial activity.

The state government has established enticing sectoral strategies to promote investment. To entice foreign investment, the state has established a favourable environment. According to the 'Ease of Doing Business' ranking, Uttar Pradesh is ranked second in the nation.

The state's preparations for infection prevention and treatment were examined by the chief minister in light of the specialists' assessments of the corona infection. The High Commissioner commended the state government's efforts in this direction.

The state government's initiatives to support girl child education, female independence, and empowerment were applauded by the High Commissioner. The "One District, One Product Scheme" was commended by him. He recalled his trip to Varanasi from roughly 25 years ago, describing his time there as a unique experience. Varanasi is currently developing into a modern city.

The UK and Uttar Pradesh may continue their relationship in the area of higher education, according to the High Commissioner. Under this, there will be more opportunities for intellectual exchange between British and state universities. Under the "One District, One Product Scheme," we are also able to provide designing, packaging, and technical support services. He claimed that the state exports a lot of leather and textile goods to the United Kingdom.

The Chief Secretary, Mr. RK Tiwari, the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister, Mr. Siddharth Nath Singh, and other top officials were there.
